As design head of the Cherry Tea Collective, a club dedicated to creating a yearly themed zine for charity featuring members’ artwork and writings, I designed the book cover and layout for the 2024 to 2025 issue. The charity that was chosen was The Sierra Club Foundation, a non-profit charity that aims to improve and educate on climate solutions and conservation. Inspired by the California sunsets, I created the cover design in Procreate. The font choice was chosen for its delicate yet elegant look, matching to the radiance of the sky of the sunset.
This is a final for a typography project that required students to explore different layout styles while focusing on telling the story of how typography surrounds us even in the most unexpected places.
